Dusky grouper

The dusky grouper (Epinephelus marginatus) has a large oval body and a wide mouth. Usually lives alone, hidden in the rocks, at depths below 25 meters. They are extremely friendly following divers during their dives. It's one of the most interesting creatures to observe underwater.

Exploration Journey with a suprise!!

During our last exploration journey, we were surprised by the appearance of three whales near our boat.We immediately stopped the boat and took some time observing these amazing creatures, swimming so gracefully in the Azorean sea. The photos were taken near the boat hull by Dário Rosa, with Zé Carlos GoPro.

What an amazing experience, it felt like a dream!! A special day for Season Challenge!!
